And you suppose your individual experience volunteering in one shelter represents the Salvation Army experience in toto? If you had access to my email for a couple hours and could read all the experiences of LGBTQ people who don’t live where you live, I guess you’d change your tune really fast.

The Salvation Army DOES engage in widespread, systematic discrimination against LGBTQ people. The NYC Human Rights Commission isn’t suing them for no reason, you know.

I wrote this article to pressure the SA improve their treatment of minorities. If anyone wants to sue me over that, more power to them.
