And you know, it’s not ancient history. It’s happening right now. As I just mentioned in another comment, in parts of southern Africa, one out of every five adults is HIV positive. In much of sub-saharan Africa as a whole, the ratio is almost one out of 10.

The Catholic Church, to this day, is working to prevent access to condoms in Africa.
