And what has Trump got in response? Sneering and vitriol. On YouTube (where I watch sailing videos before bed to wind down, don't judge, lol) I've been fed MANY Trump campaign ads over the last few days.

They almost invariably feature a close-up or nearly a close-up of Trump's angry face as he spouts obvious lies (like inflation is at its worst level ever in American history)
and sneers at the left. His face twists up into a kind of mocking grimace.

This is supposed to encourage people to vote for him?

I don't see it working. I think people are increasingly tired of it, including people on the right. And people are finally starting to realize that Trump really has nothing to offer the American people except self-agrandizement and hatred.
