And, true to form, lots of Texas politicians are lying their asses off, like the governor trying to misdirect the conversation and get people to believe that the power failure was due to windmills.
Maybe he didn’t speak a direct lie, maybe he was slippery about it, but the effect was that he lied, because people received exactly what he wanted them to.
Now, lots of people aren’t buying his lie, but he still lied.
That’s such a common practice among politicians today on both the left and the right that hardly anybody finds it remarkable. But it’s evil.
