And this is where I stop reading, because I know that I'm obviously dealing with somebody who doesn't think critically. The idea that Jesus performed supernatural acts comes from the gospels, which are contradictory, error-ridden accounts that were written decades after the historical Jesus would have lived.
The idea that you simply accept those accounts, even in their contradictions, and believe that Jesus perform miracles tells me that you don't have an opinion worth reading.
This is, for what it's worth, why religion is such a caustic force in the world. It encourages ridiculous beliefs while discouraging rational, historical, fact-based analysis.
We would all be better off with more facts, more rationality and way less superstition in our lives.
