Actually, I remembered a funny story about myself when I was reading your article. I flashed back to being 13 years old and lifting up my t-shirt in my mother’s kitchen, telling her I was worried about a small lump near one of my nipples.

I must have been pretty worried, because normally something like that would have been embarrassed the hell out of me.

It turned out to be nothing, just some temporary breast tissue swelling that’s pretty ordinary in early adolescent boys. But I figured that funny little memory might be a good reason for reminding men that we can get breast cancer too, even though women are at far higher risk.
