And make no mistake, people of good will and decency everywhere will fight your religion as hard as we can. Because we recognize that much of it is horrific and evil.

I say that as a gay man who is often the target of your horrific religion. What Islam teaches about me and the people I love is twisted, cruel, evil. Don't think I'm singling you out. Mainstream Christianity is equally twisted, cruel, and evil.

So if you think your religion is "correct," and that the tremendous struggle American and European women have waged to be treated as the exact and unquestioned equal of men— including to dress or not dress as they see— I can only recognize you as a religious monster.
