Here’s the basic problem: when you’re a member of a marginalized minority, unity means majorities unite right the hell against you.

I don’t want unity, I want Justice.

It’s like I say to the people who always talk about building bridges: I’m not not building a bridge to that shit. We need to stop nattering about bridges and burn the barn down.

I’m pretty sure people who talk about unity and bridges have never walked a mile in the shoes of people who live as despised others.
