Amen! If we accept that transgender people experience their identify because of biological factors that are either genetic or prenatal-environmental, then we are discussing a process that is at least grossly parallel to that which intersex people experience.

Obviously, as you point out, every individual is different. No individual trans person or intersex person experiences a process identical to any other person’s.

But nobody wins if we can’t talk about biological processes that share characteristic among people with minority gender identities and expressions.
