Amen and amen! Human rights are innate. Civil rights are the legal framework to recognize and enable human rights.

Clearly, the US has a way to go to ensure human rights for all citizens. Just yesterday, most of us watched a video of a police officer apparently deliberately murder a black man while other cops looked on and did nothing.

None of those cops are in jail.

Justice may or may not finally arrive in this case, but black people in the United States can never be said to fully enjoy human rights while this kind of behavior is so common and so frequent.
