We published a story about that last week in Prism & Pen, and I read a mainstream news story about it just yesterday, including reports of queer youth sheltering together in abandoned buildings and under bridges.

Studies indicate that most unhoused queer youth are on the streets because of religious family rejection.

They're not having fun. They're not irresponsible. It takes a lot of resources to get set up in the world, and without family to help, ....

It's not a pretty picture.

Queer youth are taking it from both barrels — condemned by Donald Trump's Republican Party just for being who they are, and then targeted by surging Republican efforts to criminalize homelessness.

If Trump wins tomorrow, things are going to get much worse.
