By uncontested, I refer to scholarly consensus that six of the letters in the New Testament claiming to have been written by Paul were actually authored by people falsely claiming Paul's identity. In some cases, the authors appear to be admirers who lived after Paul's lifetime. In other cases, they appear to be people who wish to contest Paul's theology. Much or most of the sexism in the New Testament appears to come from the latter group.
