You don't need a bunch of men fucking constantly to keep the species going. Most men are superfluous in terms of human reproductive need. The way to keep the species going is for WOMEN to choose to have sex and get pregnant.

You can ask James Knight about this for specifics, but as far as I understand, there's little or no biological or evolutionary advantage for having an equal number of men reproducing as women reproducing. In other words, most men could be celibate, and as long as a certain smaller percentage of men continued to impregnate women, population would continue to grow at merry rates.

Men who think their sexual profligacy is necessary to the continuation of the species aren't just arrogant. They're ignorant of biology and human reproduction reality.
