Ah, but the addition of a mobile phone. Makes the reading so much easier on the throne.
I don’t know why, but your poem reminded me of my grandfather who passed away many decades ago. One year, my grandmother bought him a transistor radio designed as a toilet paper dispenser. So he could listen to his beloved Cincinnati Reds play baseball as he sat on the throne. He was delighted, saying he would never have to miss a pitch again.
Does anyone even listen to baseball on the radio anymore?
