After I read the document, I thought about rebutting the philosophy, which I believe is self serving and cherry picking. Then it occurred to me that almost nobody has read the document and almost nobody ever will.

So I thought it was a better idea to just go after the conclusions with empiricism.

And of course, in this case the empirical effects of the Catholic position are so horrifying that an appeal to emotion writes itself by a simple recitation of facts.
