Actually, it cuts more deeply than that. The response to sin is supposed to be repentance. While a pastor might “struggle” with porn, at least he can genuinely resolve to give it up — without that having a destructive impact on his life.

When Christians call LGBTQ people sinners for engaging in loving relationships and starting families, they are effectively demanding the end of those loving relationships and requiring LGBTQ people to live the rest of their lives without sexual intimacy or romantic partnership.

That’s a huge deal. Much huger than resolving not to look at porn again.
