Actually, in my experience, Mormons bring up their missionary work quite a lot in claiming that they are not racist. They're full of shit, of course. Sending missionary teams overseas to convert Black people to a Church that doesn't want Black people marrying white people ... Well, that's just about as racist as anything could possibly be.

The LDS Church is as racist as they are anti-LGBTQ. LDS leaders treat us queer people like absolute shit. Seriously, like unwanted shit stains in their holy underwear.

Many Mormons are kind and accepting people, but their Church's theology is horrifying and evil. As I pointed out in a comment above to Allison, senior church leaders do not hesitate to call for violence against queer people.
