Absolutely, me too! Shoot, I got an email from a former head of state last week that absolutely floored me. They read me in a non-Medium publication, but it was from an article that I originally posted on Medium. Like much of my work, it’s angry and raw, but it’s deeply honest and people connect with it.

If it weren’t for Medium, I wouldn’t be occasionally published in other venues and I wouldn’t have a voice public thinkers sometimes pay attention to.

My voice might not have ever been suitable for Medium’s in-house publications, but I’m very grateful that it continues to be suitable for Medium.
