Absolutely. The cost of prescription medication in the U.S. is unconscionably high. Some of that is because of investor-class greed, like the shocking explosion in insulin prices that has resulted in Americans routinely dying of diabetes again after decades of very low mortality rates. But expensive advertising and marketing campaigns undoubtedly play a role too.
