A year or so ago, I was working on a story about queer-youth advocacy organization, and the director had to postpone a scheduled interview with me because she was dealing with a warning from the FBI about a credible threat to one of their weekly teen social gatherings at an LGBTQ community center. Somebody had been threatening to "blow it up" or "shoot it up."

They stopped meeting for a while then moved the gathering to an "undisclosed location."

So when I first read about "Montford," I flashed right back to that. It's hard to imagine how anyone would want to commit that kind of hate crime, especially when the targets are kids.
