A Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist Confesses

Prism & Pen Storytelling at its Best

James Finn

--

Jane Latimer recorded a confessional after leaving the gender-critical movement, but those words may be her last.

In today’s promo piece amplifying the voices of Prism & Pen writers, I urge you to think about TERF ideology with Valentine Wiggin. I’ll let their words speak for themselves:

During my time in the gender-critical movement, I have done things that I am not proud of. I ridiculed trans people of all races, ages, and genders saying that their identities were fake, they were confused, or that they weren’t trying hard enough. For a while, maybe the first year or so, I genuinely bought into those ideas. However, as time went on, I realized just how much those things I said sounded like the things I heard when my parents forced me into conversion therapy.

You can finish Valentine’s story on Prism & Pen.
