A beautiful musical-theater version took Paris by storm more than a decade ago, and I've internalized much of that music. It feels so appropriate to me, so in tune with the sentiment.

I think that in the English-speaking world, The Little Prince is known, but mostly thought of as a children's story.

Not so in the French world, where the work is so revered as philosophy that you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who couldn't quote at least some of it.

How lovely that you've discovered it now and have such a treat in store!
